Wipes

Finally I did some shopping that I remember to post!! I have done very very little coupon shopping due to morning sickness then visitors then moving and so on. Until last weekend it had been a few months since I had even bought a newspaper. But now that we're moved I am working hard on getting my coupon shopping going again. Hopefully I am successful.

This was a small shopping trip but a nice one to start with. :-) Yesterday I went to Walgreens for the deal on Huggies wet wipes but they were all out, much to my disappointment. Today I had Daniel run over early in the morning and see if they had more yet and they did! He grabbed all six they had in stock.

Total OOP: $3.74

Total Savings: $13.00

I only had MFC coupons for two of the tubs but it's a good enough deal just using the in-store Walgreens $2 off coupon that I thought I'd grab more than 2 tubs.

We're slowly getting stocked up for the arrival of the baby. I found a good deal at Fred Meyer that I was very happy about a couple of weeks ago. Someone had returned a couple packages of size 1 Pampers Swaddlers (my baby diaper of choice for newborns). The packages had been opened but there didn't seem to be any diapers missing. Since they had been opened the diapers went to clearance so I bought both of them each costing $4. It would have been extra good if I had had coupons but good enough without!

Monday Shopping

Albertsons

GrapeNuts: $1.57 ea wyb 2
MFC: $1 off 2
Total: $4.28 and received $3 in CAT (I always like unexpected CAT!!)
Savings: $14.10

WALGREENS
Unfortunately the Softsoap deal isn't rolling at my Walgreens store (in Aloha off TV Hwy) like it has been for others. A free body wash is still a good deal though especially since I am out of body wash. So it ended up being 2 for $3.24.

The shaving cream took me a bit to find and I even gave up on them but I found them somewhere else (near the body wash). So they were free after RR.

The chapstick also free after RR.

I can't find my reciept for the total. I received $8 in CAT, that's all I know.

RITE AID
M5 Razor is free after SCR
Intuition Razor (good deal): $8.99 BOGOF
MFC : $4 off 1 (x2) = $1/2 (.50 ea)
Maybelleine BOGOF. $5 SCR wyb 3 or more Maybelleine products.

Total at RA (after SCR): $8.26
Total Savings at RA: $45.24

Stocking Up

I'm working hard this month on stocking up on everything again so I thought I would go get some deals at Albies this today.

I didn't get anything real amazing but good enough. The best deal was the toilet paper on sale for $3.99 used $.50 off MFC and then doubled so it was $2.99 for a 6-pack of double rolls. Everything else, minus the chicken and yogurt, were BOGOF.

Total OOP: $21.79
Total Savings: $49.19

For those who haven't heard, Albies is no longer accepting competitor coupons. The cashier said that it's effective immediately but this week they will probably still accept them as they transition over. They are going to be having their own doubles in the ad every week as well as other coupons.

Walgreens

Yes, I have finally done another deal! Actually I did a couple last week too. It's been nice to get some coupon shopping again especially since our stash has seriously dwindled. I felt terrible when I had to go out a couple weeks ago and buy toilet paper at almost full price! But luckily we're able to start stocking back up!

This is what I got yesterday....

2- Carefree ($1 ea)

6- Stayfree ($1 ea)

3- Excedrin (.99 ea and $1 RR--I forgot that they will only allow 1 RR otherwise I wouldn't have bought three of them, but still a good deal)

4- Dove deodorant (it's my favorite so I always try to stock up when it's on sale)

3- Reynolds wrap (free plus profit)

1- Fusion Gamer razor (free plus profit)

I don't really feel like breaking it down with the coupons. In the end it cost $21 and some odd cents and I got $7 RR. The savings was around $40.

Quaker

We eat oatmeal for breakfast every morning and luckily there won't be a shortage of oatmeal in our house this year due to our recent shopping. I love Albertsons deal this week. Here's what we got for free:

This was a pretty good deal without the coupons ($1.50 each wyb 4 of select quaker products). So using coupons, doublers, and some left over cat from last week, our total out of pocket was, as I mentioned, ZERO dollars.
Total savings of $111.09.

I think that's a pretty good deal! :-)

At last

After two months of absolutely no coupon shopping, I was happy for the opportunity to go coupon shopping today! Unfortunately I didn't have any doublers or a way to get them since we are currently without a car for a bit. Regardless, I wanted to get some stuff at Albies since our stash has been dwindling quickly these last 2 months.

Before we left, I had about 4 minutes to look at the Albertsons ad online and grab the coupons I needed because we were in a hurry. Since the deals been going for a few days they were out of several things but it worked out well. Here's what I got:

As some know, the deal was buy $30 get $15. The cashier knows us from all of our coupon shopping and when she noticed we didn't have any doublers, she grabbed an Albertsons one for us that she had in her drawer! Nice lady!

Total OOP: $21.30
Total Savings: $28.77
and then $15 cat

We plan on going back tomorrow. We only want to do one transaction at a time since we don't want to be walking home with a big load of groceries.

It's nice to have done some coupon shopping!
