WALGREEN's
On our shopping trip, we stopped by Walgreen's and I bought lots of stuff I totally DON'T need. Why would I do that, you ask? What? You didn't ask that? Well, I'll tell you anyway. I bought the things that are listed in the June Easy Saver Catalog as free after rebate. Basically if I buy this, I turn in the rebate info, and I get all my money back, plus 10% if I get it on a gift card (which I did). I do this so that I can have a gift card to use to buy other purchases from Walgreen's. Hopefully that'll mean I won't be spending much money there very often.
Besides, who doesn't need these things? I would tell you what they are, but I'm ninja-unsure of what they are...
CVS
After all the awesome diaper deals at CVS, my ECB have mostly been wiped out. So, I'm trying to rebuild. Here's what I bought a couple days ago:
----
Smart Rinse - 3.49 x 2 = $6.98
(earn $3.49 in ECB for each)
CVS Bandaids - 1.99 x 2 = $3.98
(earn 1.99 in ECB for each)
CVS Cotton Swabs - $3.19 x 2 = $6.38
(earn 2.00 in ECB for each)
TOTAL: $17.34
----
Coupons:
$3 off $15 purchase = $3 off
$3 off $10 CVS products = $3 off (get these from the machine in the store when you scan your card)
= $6 off
----
New total: $11.34
----
Used $5 ECB
New total = $6.34 (paid in cash)
Earned $14.96 in ECB
Now that I have some ECB again, I most likely won't have to spend much cash again at all.
